Aloha Parents,
I am in contact with the State Civil Defense and the Departments of Education & Human Services. We are watching the progress of hurricane Iselle and hurricane Julio. We are currently in tropical storm watch which mean inclement weather conditions are possible within the next 48 hours.
The safety and welfare of our Ka Hana Pono Ohana is of utmost important so we will be sending updated messages to you through email and/or phone/text over the next few days reading the decision about school closure. As of today, based on the best data available, we will be in session tomorrow.
Please check your email for information and stay tuned to your local news about emergency preparations and weather updates.
As a rule of thumb, if the Oahu Department of Education schools in the surrounding area shut down due to weather, then we will follow suit.
Thank you.
Aloha,
Angelica & Bison xoxoxo
